Five Songs With Sex/ Drugs

1. Lollipop by Lil Wayne
Lollipop is not about the popular candy but about something MUCH different. I do not like the song because I always hear little kids going around singing not knowing the true meaning.

2. Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay by Big Sean
The background music in the verses says it all in this song. I do like this song because its rather new and my boyfriend and I always laugh at the background music in the verses.

3.My Humps by The Black Eyed Peas
When this song came out I loved it, given that I had no idea what it meant. But now, I'm gonna say I absolutely cannot stand it!
4. Ayo For Yayo by Andre Nickatina
I like this song because I just like the way sounds, not the meaning.

5. Motivation by Kelly Rowland
I like this song a TON because its unlike a lot of other songs that are out right now.

Music Memories #1

I've always had one favorite kind of music, Country. Even when I was little I can remember listening to country music in the car with my mom. When my brother and I were little, we would sing along to all the songs and if we didnt know the words to one part we would make them up. I remember getting so mad at my brother for singing the words wrong and yelling at him, and then us both getting in trouble for fighting. I listened soley to country music all through elementary and middle school. My love for country music has never actually gone away but I can remember that when I first started high school is when I kind of "learned" there were other kinds if music besides country. During my freshmen year I started listening to hip-hop. I liked hip-hop because it was what was played at the dances and was what everybody else listened to. During my junior year, I started hanging out with a different group of people from a different school so my music taste changed, this time to underground rap. It wasn't hardcore rap but more rap that came along after the "jerk" movement. (Jerk reffering to "I'm a jerk" by the NewBoyz) My senior year I came back to country music. I think country music is the best kind of music because it has simple lyrics and relatable messages. No matter what kind of music I like, I'll always LOVE country music.

Five Songs I Hate

1. Bass Head- Bassnectar
I can't stand any songs by Bassnectar, mostly because a lot of them do not have any words and I dont really see the point in listening to them if theres no words.
2. Prom Night- Rebecca Black
The terrible voice work and lyrics just make this song so bad, but popular because it was so terrible.

3. Turn It Up - Kim Kardashian
Another song where the lyrics arent that great and neither is the voice. Also popular because it was made fun of for being bad.

4. Makes Me Wonder- Maroon 5
Ever since this song came out it has annoyed me. Im not sure what it is about it, but I cannot stand it!!

5. Marco Polo - Soulja Boy and Bow Wow
This songs only words are "Marco Polo." Not only does it not make any sense whatsoever, but its so repetitive it bores me.

My Five Favorite Songs

1. My Maria by Brooks and Dunn
The reason this song is one of my favorites is because when my brother and I were younger we used to beg my mom to put on this song in the car so we could sing along.

2. God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton
I am a very big Blake Shelton fan but this is my most favorite song because I like the message that song gives out.

3. The House That Built Me by Miranda Lambert
I like this song because it makes you think about how much of an effect your childhood has on the rest of your life.

4. Mine by Taylor Swift
This song holds very many special memories for me because in high school I was a cheerleader and all us cheerleaders believed that if we didnt hear atleast one Taylor Swift  song on the radio before a football game we would not win. (The one time we did not hear a Taylor Swift song we lost the semi- final game.)

5. Roxanne by The Police
I like this song because it is the kind of music my parents have always listened to. I grew up listening to The Police on family vacations with everyone singing along in the car.
